Father-Daughter Doctor Team Delivers Science-Based Strategies For Preventing the Top Diseases and Aging Successfully In Their New Book Longevity Made Simple

Denver, Colorado--Longevity Made Simple: How to Add 20 Good Years to Your Life by Richard J. Flanigan, MD, and Kate Flanigan Sawyer, MD, MPH, focuses on what really matters: the strategies to prevent the top ten diseases, which kill more than 75 percent of Americans.

Drs. Flanigan and Sawyer, a charismatic father-daughter team, have spent decades reviewing the medical literature and helping their patients live long, healthy lives. Longevity Made Simple combines their research and clinical experience in a powerful, but quick and essential read. As authors and clinicians, they bring clarity, rigor, and authoritativeness to the vast and sometimes contradictory health and medical advice on aging.

From the Foreword

"…this splendid book distinguishes itself with its brevity and unique approach…I congratulation the authors for their wise counsel and urge all to follow it for a healthier, happier, and longer life."

--William C. Roberts, MD
Editor-in-Chief, The American Journal of Cardiology
Executive Director, Baylor Heart & Vascular Institute

Stop Your Killer

The book opens by explaining the biggest threats to our longevity, which are just ten diseases that kill more than 75 percent of all people in the United States. Longevity Made Simple then helps readers determine their personal risk profiles for developing these diseases, and offers simple, evidence-based tactics to reduce or to eliminate these risks. Readers will come away from Longevity Made Simple with a clear understanding of the real threats to their health and the tools to extend their lives.
